Chapter 8 Impulsed Teen
- Evans
- I had to quickly get home to relax, after the scene Amelia pulled in the board room. Even if she was my bestfriend's daughter, I hated her guts. She annoyed the f*ck out of me but thanks to my self control.
- Soon enough, I caught a glimpse of what she wore. That yellow dress, it was Amelia's. She looked like she was struggling to get off his grip.
- No Evans, just leave. My subconscious said.
- I pass the aisle but soon enough, I see myself going back again.
- I take the bat in my back seat, using it on his head.
- “Who the f*ck are you!” The guy shouted in my face and I give him a punch—breaking his nose.
- “I also don't want to be here, it's mutual.” I said and give him another blow. He was no match for me because he was on the floor in seconds.

- Amelia slept soundly in my car, I wasn't going to take her up—not with my bestfriend at home. I drive straight to my apartment in no time she's soundly asleep on my bed.
- 30 minutes later…
- “What is this place?” I hear her voice and turn away from my cricket game.
- “My house. Welcome back to the living.”
- “What am I doing at your place?”
- “You're welcome.” I said, drinking my soda.
- “I'm serious Evans.” I won't lie, I kind of love the way my name sounds in her mouth.
- “You were unconscious.”
- “Jake—”
- “Figured, an ex of yours?” I asked.
- “Yeah. He's just crazy.”
- “I had no idea psychopaths still date psychopaths.” I joked
- “Haha..I guess I should be rolling on the floor cause boring grandpa cracked a joke.” she fired.
- “Why didn't you take me home?” she asked
- “It's not something I want your father to see.”
- “So what do I do? Stay in your house?”
- “Unless you have another place to go then you're free to leave. I don't need to get wrapped up in a teenager's love life.” I wanted to ask her so much about that Jake guy, but I don't even give a damn.
- “Yes, its better you stop poking your nose into someone's business.”
- “It's better you stop dating alcoholics and guys that are mentally deranged.”
- “You have no right judging me! No right!” She rose her voice to me.
- “You're in my house princess, watch your tone.”
- “You're so maddening. Fine you helped me, fine you saved me—but that doesn't give you the right to judge me from very little.”
- “I don't need to see alot. I know your type. As impulsive as you are, you get into things and do things your way. Landed you to a shit of a boyfriend.”
- “Ex. Jake is my ex!” She was angry at this point.
- “Whatever, it doesn't look like a past relationship.”
- “You know what, F**k you! I hate you soo much. You think you know everything, you think you're always right but in reality, you aren't. You have no idea how I dealt with my relationship with Jake. You have no idea how I was hurt numerous times because I loved someone. You have no idea how it feels to love someone that just wants you for your body and nothing else!! You have no idea!”
- She paced around the room, looking for her purse i presume. If she thinks her little speech will soothe or change my presumption about her, then she's wrong.
- “Yes I know everything about you little Amelia.”
- “Don't call me that.”
- “How old are you even? 18? 19? What does a little girl know about the world at all if not fantasy and barbie dreams” I joked.
- “I'm 22. Thanks for asking Evans. You're not nice. You're a beast. Just because you don't have fun and your life is so boring with no one to spice it up but you, doesn't mean you should ruin someone else's.” She said, her eyes looking teary.
- “I did you a favor. I helped you.”
- “Yes and I guess that added to your ego!”
- She picks her purse—about to leave.
- “You're really a monster. I thought you were nice but you're even worse than my father! I don't want to ever see you again Evans Scott.” With that, she leaves.
- Well good riddance, there is no way in hell I'm ever going to see my bestfriend's daughter as an angel that she was before I left. She is a sassy and impulsive lady. She has no idea what she does and I'm not going to waste my precious time on a 22
