• “I’m here to see Veronica,” Brenda said to the two bodyguards flanking her as they approached the mansion’s entrance. I was lounging by the pool, sipping on a glass of orange juice when I heard her familiar voice. I stood up quickly, walking over to meet her.
• “She’s with me, thank you,” I told the bodyguards. They nodded and immediately returned to their posts near the gate.
• Brenda’s eyes widened as she took in the grandeur of the mansion. “Omg, this place is dope,” she chuckled, turning in a slow circle. “So this is what being a celebrity is all about, comfort.”
