• DAMIAN KINGSTON- YEARS AGO
• I was in a meeting with my father-in-law and some other men. He's sick, on his deathbed, and had me sign this damn contract. He's afraid I'll take over his mafia and leave. I'm 20 years old and Louisa is only 17. We got married young, my father made a deal with my father-in-law to allow Louisa to marry at this age, but on the day of our wedding, Louisa and I came to an agreement. I wanted this mafia, it would be mine after we got married, and Louisa wanted to be free, to live without her father's strict rules and be able to work, to have a normal life, the life she always wanted. I obviously agreed, she would get what she wanted, I would get what I wanted, and we would both be happy, until I found out Louisa was pregnant.
• I don't love that girl, and I never cheated. Betrayal means death in a mafia and I knew perfectly well the consequences of it, and since my dream was about to come true, Iwasn't going to do such a thing. I received an anonymous email containing a photo of her in a car with a boy, probably a schoolmate or something. It stuck in my head and since I had some influence within the organization, I asked some trusted soldiers to find out if it was true or not.
