Chapter 48

• An awkward silence assumes the air as the two sits inside the room. She stares into space, making sure to avoid her gaze. She can't help getting nervous and praying silently that he doesn't get mad at her. She was aware that he wanted to be left alone for some time, but she couldn't help getting worried about him.
• "Uhm... Forgive me for disturbing you... I was just worried about you. You see, it has been a while since I last saw you, so I thought coming over to check up on you and see for myself, how you're doing is..."
• "It's fine..." He cuts her off. Although he wanted to be left alone, he feels loved by what she has done now. It makes him happy to know that someone cares about her and wants to be sure of his safety. After the death of his mom, he has lost that avenue, so he has been living on himself, and caring for himself.
