Chapter 19

• Her head bangs with pain as she tries to open her eyes, and she closes them back again. Her whole body feels so weak and she finds it difficult to move any part of her body. Like a movie, the incident of the earlier moment replays in her head and she forces her eyes open, only to find herself in a strange room.
• "Where am I?" Still lying on the bed and staring at the place strangely, she asks herself in a whisper. Is she dead? This place doesn't look like the heaven she has always heard about, so where the hell is she? Those are the questions that keep running through her mind as she stares at the place in confusion.
• "What were you doing outside at that time?" A cold masculine voice emerges from the dark, sending a chilled sensation to her body, as her heart misses a beat. That's the voice she will always recognize even in her deep sleep. It's alpha Damien.
