Chapter 44

• When Evangeline awakens, she realizes that she has slept in Alec’s bed and that he is no longer there. She gets up a little scared and goes to his bathroom, finding it empty. After putting some toothpaste in her mouth, wetting her face and taming her hair, pinning it in a bun, she leaves the room.
• "Evangeline?" Audrey stops in the middle of the hall and scratches her eyes. "Am I still dreaming or did you JUST LEAVE ALEC’S ROOM?”
• "Stop screaming! We only saw one movie and... well, I didn’t even finish the movie. I ended up sleeping.”
