• The peace of Moonshade Valley stood in sharp contrast to Luna Hartley's whirl of emotions. Her mind racing with memories of the battle they had barely escaped and the approaching threats, she found herself unable to sleep as the evening grew darker. Her mind kept echoing Aiden Blackwood's promise to guard them, offering a flimsy solace.
