• She wasn’t hungry. Her nerves were vibrating, and she couldn’t find an appetite. Brent finally came back when she’d just decided she was going to go outside and wait for him. She looked up at him, holding her breath.
• He sat down; leaning over the takeout bag to see what was left over for him. Looking up at Jac he smiled. “How are you feeling?”
• Felicity wanted to grab his face and ask him what he’d found out. “Brent…”
