Chapter 20 Fire And Ice

• MORGAN'S POV
• I stiffened at her closeness to me, but that didn't stop the warmth I felt from her body spreading to mine and making me feel things I had not felt in 16 years. It was like an electric current coursing through my veins and making me feel warm and fuzzy.
• In the last 16 years of my life, apart from being allergic to women, my illness has brought me an intense feeling of coldness. No matter what I did, I could cover myself with the heaviest duvets, and even if I was in a room that had a heater on in it, I still felt cold. Later, I just made it so that wherever I was, the air conditioning would always be on full blast. The cold never bothered me anyway.
