• "Then, where are you taking me today?" Ellis asked as she got into the back seat of Rocco's car, looking serious. "Could you ask your boss not to call me during work hours? I think I'm about to lose my job..."
• "Mr. Amorielle gave instructions for your dinner," Rocco said briefly.
• "Dinner?" Ellis repeated, raising an eyebrow. She turned to look out the window, admiring the New York skyline as she spoke. "We already had lunch together... now we're going to have dinner... Can you tell me where we're going to dine?"
