Chapter 83 Calix – Freeing Them

• Daisy had fallen asleep against me. I carried her out in my arms, refusing to let go of her even once we got home. I climbed into bed with her in my arms, and fell asleep almost instantly. I didn’t realise how much better I slept with her next me.
• Waking up I smile down at her as she stays wrapped around my body, we need to get cleaned up, and the bedding. I didn’t bother even trying to shower, which means the blood that was all over me from our enemies now coats the bed. Kissing her forehead I try to awaken her but she simply snuggles closer.
• I need to get up, not so much her. Walking through to the bathroom I get showered then dressed before walking to the kitchen, just as I am reaching it D walks out with Marc and the food.
