Chapter 23 Daisy – Talks

• We eat in silence for the rest of the food. It feels weird sitting here alone with him, but I guess he is right, I need to eat. Finishing I carry my plate through and begin washing it before putting it away. I begin cleaning the pan when he walks through and takes it from me.
• “I will, you go get some sleep.” He smiles at me.
• “I’m fine, I’m used to no sleep, remember?” I go to take it back, his hand stopping me.
