Chapter 53 Eliminate Her

• While Emine was still processing what had just happened, she heard Aiden's accusing voice. He dragged her to his basement and kept her tied up there for a month before finally setting her free. However, she wasn't truly free, as she continued to face maltreatment from the maids and her in-laws. There were days when she went without food, and the only person who genuinely cared about her was Jedidiah. Unfortunately, life was cruel and took him away from her.
• She pulled herself out of her thoughts and decided to visit Jedidiah. She drove straight to his resting place and spoke to his grave, "Jedidiah, how have you been? I'm sorry I haven't found the time to visit you. I felt ashamed because your enemies are walking free, while you are all alone here." She gently caressed the picture on the grave, and a tear rolled down her cheek onto the gravestone.
• Suddenly, she heard a sharp voice behind her and turned to see Jedidiah's sister, Carolina. "What are you doing here?" Carolina accused. "Even after his death, you can't stay away from him? You're a disaster! So many people have lost their lives because of you and your wicked brother. Jedidiah died because of you, and my brother also died because of you. I warn you not to come here again and bring trouble upon me."
