• I comforted Sienna and climbed onto the bed beside her. "The baby is okay. Everything is fine. Now, calm down," I whispered soothingly into her ear as I pulled her down and into me. I heard her sniffle as she relaxed into me, laying her hand across my chest.
• "I don't know what I would have done if it wasn't okay, Eric. I really don't know. Because of all the things he did to me, I was hoping that our baby would be okay. I was so scared. I was scared that I was going to lose you and the baby," she said softly.
