• Outside, I saw Gabriel holding a man by his neck. He had him pushed against a wall. Cara had her gun out as Gabriel held the man firmly. Before I could ask who he was and what was going on, Sienna stepped out with no visible weapon in her hand. She was still in just my T-shirt.
• Cara and Gabriel briefly looked at her, and I knew that they really wanted to ask the obvious, but they knew that this was not the time for that.
