Chapter 8 Do Not Cry I Will Take You Home
- Bang!
- Finneas casually tossed the two lackeys, sending them flying over ten meters away They crashed heavily onto the ground, blood oozing from their mouths and noses, lying motionless. Their fate was uncertain.
- Then, Finneas shifted his gaze to Grover and his gang not far away.
- His eyes were as cold as the ice of hell, making anyone who looked at them feel a chill in their heart.
- Grover squinted his eyes slightly.
- He sensed a trace of danger from Finneas, but he wasn't afraid.
- How much trouble could one man cause?
- No matter how strong Finneas was, he was outnumbered. Grover had many lackeys by his side, all equipped with knives.
- He was confident and assured that with his command, this young man before him would be chopped into an unrecognizable mess.
- However, before anything else, he needed to figure out Finneas' background.
- “Kid, who the hell are you to meddle in the affairs of the Trident Gang?”
- “Trident Gang?”
- Finneas searched his mind for information about this group but found nothing.
- However, this was to be expected, considering he didn't know any of this a decade ago.
- Behind him, Kelly's face turned pale upon hearing those words. She anxiously asked, “Are you guys from the Trident Gang?”
- “Heh, little girl, you do have some knowledge,” Grover sneered.
- Alyssa looked worried and asked Kelly, “Is the Trident Gang very powerful?”
- “I'm not entirely sure.” Kelly exhaled a deep breath, then continued anxiously, “I heard about the Trident Gang from a roommate in my dorm. Apparently, our student council president, Zachary Tappert, is the son of one of the leaders. Zachary is extremely powerful and no one dares to cross him. Even the school leaders bow to him and call him Mr. Tappert.”
- Upon hearing this, Alyssa instinctively covered her mouth.
- The son of a leader is already so formidable. How terrifying must the entire Trident Gang be? No wonder even the police didn't want to get involved...
- She was scared and began to feel that their stubborn resistance was a joke.
- More importantly, she didn't want Finneas to get hurt.
- Finneas had saved her twice already, and no matter how cold her heart was, it had started to melt.
- “Finneas, forget it,” Alyssa said nervously.
- Finneas turned and looked at Alyssa in surprise.
- This was the first time she had spoken to him voluntarily.
- Although she didn't acknowledge him as her brother, her tone was gentler, and it was obvious she was concerned for him.
- Reflecting on this, he felt a bit grateful to Grover and his gang.
- Indeed, even the most useless people have their value.
- “Forget it? You beat my men this badly, and you want to gloss it over? Do you think that's possible? If you don't give me at least eight hundred grand or one million, this matter isn't finished!” Grover sneered.
- “Indeed, it's not finished. You dared to bully my sister, so there's only one outcome,” Finneas said calmly.
- Without any hesitation, he suddenly crouched, launching himself like an arrow toward Grover and his men.
- In reality, with his strength, he could easily eliminate this group with a wave of his hand, but that would be too shocking.
- He didn't want to scare Alyssa and her friend.
- “Hmph! Ignorant fool!” Grover snorted, waving his hand.
- The group of underlings behind him swiftly drew their steel blades, charging forward with menacing grins.
- Eight strong men, all armed with knives, facing one.
- It seemed like an easy win.
- But in the next moment...
- Bang!
- Boom!
- Crack!
- The eight knife-wielding men were no match for Finneas.
- With an impassive face, Finneas took down his opponents one by one, as if they were mere children.
- In the blink of an eye, merely a matter of seconds, the eight menacing brutes were taken down by Finneas. They lay on the ground, their bodies battered, with countless bones likely broken.
- They were spitting out blood. Their faces were a gruesome sight, mangled and bloody, enough to make anyone's skin crawl.
- “So... so strong!”
- Kelly was deeply shocked by what she saw.
- Is this not a scene from a movie?
- Her bright eyes were fixed intently on Finneas.
- This unshaven, melancholic-looking man suddenly appeared extremely handsome.
- Could he really be Lyssie's brother?
- Alyssa was equally stunned.
- She knew Finneas was strong from last night's incident but never expected him to be this formidable.
- He defeated eight men single-handedly, doing so with such effortless satisfaction!
- Would someone like him come back to take the relocation compensation from me?
- “No... no way!” Grover was terrified, feeling a chill down his spine.
- He couldn't accept what he was seeing.
- !”This was too exaggerated. Such combat skills were rare even among the elite in their gang.
- “It's your turn now!” Finneas said calmly, looking at Grover.
- Grover shivered, retreating a few steps before falling on his backside.
- Facing such a terrifying presence, he had no will to resist.
- “Don't... don't come near me!”
- Bang!
- Finneas slapped Grover, sending him flying several meters away. He even knocked out many teeth in the process.
- Grover didn't dare retaliate. Instead, he struggled to his knees and banged his head repeatedly against the ground. In a trembling voice, he said, “Sir, I was wrong! I know I was wrong! If I'd known you were this powerful, I would never have dared to demolish your house!”
- Finneas' expression remained indifferent as he stepped on Grover's face.
- Just then, Alyssa and Kelly screamed in terror.
- “Finneas, watch out!”
- “Watch out, mister!”
- Finneas looked up to see the excavator's driver maneuvering the machine's arm toward him.
- Grover's eyes lit up with excitement, but he couldn't move because Finneas' foot pinned him down.
- You're strong, right? Let's see if you're tougher than an excavator!
- However, in the next moment, Finneas calmly reached out his hand.
- His slender hand collided with the excavator's arm.
- Bang!
- A loud crash ensued, and the powerful machine's arm stopped mid-air.
- No matter how loudly the excavator's engine roared, or how much smoke it belched, the digger bucket remained utterly still, firmly held back by Finneas' hand.
- Seeing this, the excavator operator and Grover swallowed hard.
- Alyssa and Kelly covered their mouths, eyes wide in disbelief.
- Is this true? Is this something a human could do?
- “Is it fun?” Finneas asked the driver calmly.
- “Fun... no... not fun at all! I don't want to do this anymore! I want to go home!”
- The driver had never seen such a scene.
- Frightened to the point of bursting into tears, he wanted to run away but found his legs trembling so much that he couldn't even walk.
- “Don't cry, I'll take you home.”
- Finneas picked up a small pebble from the ground and lightly flicked it toward the driver.
