Chapter 10 Wipe Them Out

  • Meanwhile, in the outskirts to the east of Jacaster, there lay a magnificent mansion.
  • It was nestled amidst verdant hills on three sides, with a serene lake gracing its front. The location was superb and undoubtedly blessed with good geomancy omen.
  • At this moment, on the couch in the mansion's main hall sat a middle-aged man, engrossed in a card game.
  • “There's bad news, Howard! Terrible news!” Just then, Grover dashed in, looking utterly disheveled. His words were frantic, his demeanor a mix of panic and fear.
  • However, Howard acted like he hadn't heard anything, finishing his card game. Only then did he exhale heavily, finally climbing down from the couch.
  • “What's up, Grover? What got you so flustered?” Howard calmly sat on the couch and lit a cigarette, asking casually.
  • Grover glanced at the beauty on the couch and gulped, his heart filled with envy and admiration.
  • However, he also knew this was not the moment to feast his eyes. He quickly relayed what had just happened.
  • “One person took on all of you? And even managed to stop an excavator with just one hand?” Howard asked.
  • Grover replied, “Yes! I was nearly scared out of my wits back then.”
  • “Do you take me for a fool? Do you even know what an excavator is used for? It can break through not only flesh and blood but even concrete. Could a human body stop an excavator?” Howard said coldly.
  • If I believe such nonsense, pigs might fly!
  • “Howard, I'm telling the truth! The absolute truth!” Grover nervously explained, but Howard wouldn't believe him, which sent him into a wave of fear.
  • If Howard thinks I'm lying, the consequences will undoubtedly be severe!
  • Just then, the mansion's front door was kicked open from the outside with a loud bang.
  • Immediately after, Finneas walked in with a composed expression.
  • “It's him, Howard, it's him! See? We didn't lie to you, did we?” Grover's expression instantly lit up with joy upon seeing that Finneas had followed him.
  • Finneas' arrival not only validated their recent conversation, but with Howard there, he could also seek his revenge.
  • “Hmm? I didn't expect anyone to dare to come!”
  • Howard lounged on the couch, a cigarette idly held between his fingers, watching Finneas enter with an air of nonchalance.
  • With a wave of his hand, dozens of bodyguards dressed in black emerged from all directions, swiftly forming a tight circle around Finneas.
  • “Go and bring an excavator here. I want to see this person try to stop one with his bare hands.”
  • Before Finneas could speak, Howard casually waved his hand again.
  • “Right away, Howard!”
  • A bodyguard dressed in black cast a disdainful glance at Finneas before preparing to leave to drive the excavator.
  • However, no sooner had he taken a step than Finneas swatted him away. He was thrown forcefully to the ground, lifeless as could be!
  • This sudden turn of events instantly caused the entire room to fall silent.
  • Everyone's eyes narrowed slightly. They hadn't expected Finneas to be so audacious. Despite being surrounded, he still dared to strike and kill!
  • “Indeed, you've got some skills! Brat, where do you hail from?” Howard stood up, asking coldly.
  • He refused to believe that someone capable of killing without batting an eye could be just an ordinary resident to be relocated.
  • Moreover, anyone who could kill with a single strike was undoubtedly trained.
  • “Are you from Trident Gang?” Finneas asked.
  • “Indeed, I am Howard Zelkova, the third leader of Trident Gang,” Howard replied icily.
  • Finneas threw him another question. “Where is the headquarters of Trident Gang?”
  • This time, Howard didn't respond. Instead, he gave Finneas a profound look.
  • What is this young man's intention? He barged in here alone. Did he think he could defeat my group of fifty or sixty men?
  • “Do you hold a grudge against Trident Gang?” he asked.
  • “I'm the one asking the question. Where is Trident Gang's headquarters?” Once more, Finneas asked calmly.
  • “Screw this! Who does he think he is? Grab that punk for me, I'll teach him a lesson about showing off in my presence!” Howard ordered, sneering.
  • Upon hearing the command, dozens of bodyguards immediately swarmed in, their faces fierce and menacing. They wore wicked smiles, looking at Finneas as if he were nothing more than a clown.
  • Finneas appeared indifferent as he unleashed the Supreme Sword Art. A three-foot-long sword materialized out of thin air in his hand.
  • Without Alyssa and Kelly around, there was nothing to hold back.
  • “Magic?” Howard was momentarily taken aback.
  • However, in the next moment, his eyes were wide open in shock.
  • Finneas simply swung his sword gently, and an invisible sword energy spread out, enveloping the dozens of bodyguards closing in. In an instant, they were all slain on the spot.
  • Blood was everywhere on the ground!
  • The once magnificent mansion had seemingly transformed into hell at that moment.
  • “Argh!”
  • “Ahhh!”
  • Upon witnessing the scene, Howard, the woman, and Grover collapsed onto the ground, their mouths emitting terrified screams.
  • He had slain over fifty people with just a single flick of his sword! How... How could this be possible?
  • “Who... who exactly are you?” Howard looked at Finneas with trepidation as if staring at a demon.
  • “I'll ask you again. Where is the headquarters of Trident Gang?” With a blank expression, Finneas asked.
  • “I-I don't know!” Howard's voice trembled as he spoke. Then, he fell to his knees with a thud, pleading for mercy incessantly.
  • I'd truly never witnessed such a terrifying scene before!
  • He even began questioning if the young man before him was human or a deity from the heavens.
  • Only a deity could have slain so many people in a single breath, right?
  • Ignoring Howard's pleas for mercy, Finneas stepped forward and placed his hand on the former's forehead, unleashing the Secret Art - Soul Searching Technique.
  • This Secret Art could forcibly probe someone's memories. However, the aftermath was severe. The person whose memories were probed would undoubtedly become a complete fool afterward.
  • Before long, Howard's eyes rolled back, foam forming at his mouth, and he promptly fainted.
  • Subsequently, Finneas coldly scanned the minds of Grover and the alluring, stark-naked woman.
  • Unexpectedly, he discovered none of the three knew where Trident Gang's headquarters was.
  • This organization was shrouded in mystery, with orders being passed down layer by layer. The people at the lower levels were merely executors, completely oblivious to the bigger picture.
  • “Timothy Saganey,” Finneas muttered to himself.
  • Timothy is Howard's boss. Perhaps, by locating him, I can wipe Trident Gang out completely.
  • However, for Finneas, all these were trivial matters. He would find time to wipe them out when the time came.
  • The matter of utmost urgency was to go home and have dinner with his sister.
  • Nothing was more important than this matter!
  • After stepping out, Finneas unleashed a terrifying force from his palm with a casual flick of his right hand toward the mansion.
  • Bang!
  • The entire mansion instantly collapsed, turning into a heap of ruins.
  • All the remains and blood-soaked bones were buried deep beneath the ground.
