Chapter 44 Don’t be mad at me
- Leila was on her way out of the clinic when she saw Charles. He was waiting by his car and as soon as he spotted her, he waved. She leaned on the door for support, tempted to run back into the clinic to stay with her sister-in-law.
- The two had bonded over tales about Kelvin’s childhood. His favourite colour was black, which came as no surprise to her since he mostly wore only black suits. Madonna was nicer than she gave her credit for, they exchanged numbers with a promise to have a girls night out in the future.
