• For the first time ever, he wasn’t apprehensive about walking past the Gemini’s hangout. They still scared him, but now that they had been helping, he felt they may at some point in the future be something loosely close to friends.
• Ava and one of the others he didn’t know glanced his way as he rounded the corner. He lifted his hand in a brief greeting without stopping. In the future meant when he’d had a lot more sleep and things were resolved in all the facets of his life. Not today.
