• I was directed to Erica's office by her parents. They had welcomed me with open hands, and I'm glad for that. I had thought that they would hold me responsible for what happened yesterday, but I'm glad they didn't. I don't know what I would have done if they had hated me for yesterday, and I'm glad they didn't. Here I am on my way to her office. Everybody I saw on my way greeted me with respect. I couldn't help but be happy about all this but, at the same time, nervous. I'm nervous about what Erica would say or do to me if she sees me.
