• I was in my room, boiling with anger, when I heard the sound of the door creeping open. I stared around the room with a frown on my face. I couldn't understand why anybody would come to my room. I knew that it must be Erica, and I'm ready to give her all that's on my mind. I'm ready to say anything to make her angry. I'm ready to say everything that can make her cry.
• I couldn't believe she was so cruel to think of something like this. I couldn't believe that this was the same woman who I have been living with under the same roof but in different rooms. I couldn't believe that this was the same woman I had thought I would stay with. I couldn't believe she would be this wicked to try out her trick on Mabel, and I'm glad that Sandra was there to help her.
