Chapter 49 Kidnapping

• Xena exhaled a nervous breath, staring out the car window. The look on Xena's face showed a clear sense of anxiety and panic. Yes, right now, Xena was heading to Morgan's office in the car. Xena was traveling with the maid who had delivered Morgan's message to her. In Xena's mind, she was only worried about Morgan. Xena was afraid that something terrible would happen to Morgan.

• "Where are we going? This isn't the road to Morgan's office," Xena exclaimed, glaring coldly at the maid beside her. Xena's tone demanded that the maid answer.
