Chapter 28 Morgan's Plan

• Xena yawned in the middle of the night. Slowly, Xena's eyes blinked a few times, and she looked to her side. The bed was empty, and no one was there. The look on Xena's face turned a little confused, and there was no Morgan beside her. Earlier, she was asleep in Morgan's arms.
• Xena looked away, staring at the clock on the wall it was midnight. Xena was sure Morgan must be in his office. There was no way Morgan would leave in the middle of the night.
• "I'd rather go to Morgan's office," Xena muttered under her breath as she pulled back the covers and got out of bed. Xena stepped out of the room. Her sleepiness was starting to wear off. Maybe Xena would get sleepy again if Morgan was next to her. Living with Morgan, Xena had gotten used to the man's presence.
