Chapter 7 Sentenced

• ~Freya~
• I groaned weakly as the door to the silver room opened. I could hear the guards conversing among themselves about a certain someone. They threw a blanket at me, and I quickly wrapped it around my body since I was naked.
• ‘’Such a shame that she will be the cause of his death.’’
• ‘’It is all her fault. How dare she attack a royal!’’
• This someone they were talking about was me but I wondered why they were talking so low as if it was a crime to speak. ‘’where are you taking me?’’ I weakly asked as I was dragged out of the silver room. My body was covered in blisters since the silver burned into my body overnight, and I couldn’t heal because I had lost connections with my wolf.
• I spent the night in agony, but the guards looked like they didn’t care about that as they pulled me outside of the building. ‘’where are you taking me?’’I asked them again and struggled against their muscular bodies, but I just ended up hurting myself in the process as one of the blisters in my hand popped. I winced in pain and blinked the tears that had gathered in my eyes away.
• ‘’if you both could answer me and….’’
• ‘’There will be no answer as you are going to face the consequences of your sins!’’ Amaya grinned at me as she walked towards me. ‘’you are alive,’’ she scoffed and beckoned to the guards to let go of me, and they did. ‘’I must say that you are powerful,’’ she scrunched her face in disgust as she stared at the blanket around my body. ‘’now you face your punishment,’’ she grabbed my hand and pulled me towards a black SUV van.
• ‘’where are you taking me to?’’I curiously asked because I knew that nothing ever goes right with Amaya.
• ‘’To face your punishment!’’ she barked. ‘’Lord Benjamin had already told you that your brother will be punished in your stead, but if you choose not to believe me, then it is your problem.’’
• ‘’where is my brother!’’ I yelled and yanked my hand freed from hers, and in the process, I lost my balance and almost fell to the ground, but someone appeared behind me, and I felt the strong arms around my waist. The instant he touched me, I felt excitement and could smell his unusual scent.
• Another prince? I thought it was because his touch was different. Unlike the two princes, his touch was neutral. I liked that he was touching me, and at the same time, I hated that he had his hands around me.
• ‘’clumsy little wolf,’’ he said in a sultry voice, and I raised my head to look at him. His hazel eyes were alluring, and staring closely at him; I could see that he was the most handsome of all the princes. ‘’I know I am handsome,’’he winked at me.
• A flirt? I see.
• ‘’pardon her, Your Highness,’’ Amaya apologized as if I had done something wrong. I hated how she always acted perfectly to gain favor in the sight of the royals. Her attitude stinks, and I wish I could give her an earful.
• ‘’let go of me,’’ I shouted and tried to break free from his strong arms on my waist, but he didn’t let go. ‘’I said….’’
• ‘’Why should I let go of you? If I do, you will fall to the ground, and I wouldn’t want to do that to a beautiful girl like yourself,’’ he winked at me again.
• What the hell? I thought. He was different from the other two princes as he seemed playful and a shameless flirt, but I couldn’t judge him yet. He was a royal and the same as his family.
• ‘’I'd rather fall to the ground than be held by you,’’ I said through gritted teeth, forcing myself out of his grip. As soon as I was freed, I stumbled forward and fell to the ground, popping more of the blisters in my hand. I winced in pain and cursed the prince under my breath.
• ‘’if you are going to curse at me, you might as well say it loudly so I can hear you,’’ he appeared in front of me and stretched his hand for me to take. ‘’I can help you again.’’
• ‘’I'd rather remain on the ground than let you touch me again,’’ I spat angrily and stood up from the ground on my own.
• ‘’when I heard that you stabbed Nolan, I couldn’t believe it, but seeing you now, I can see that you are truly who they say you are,’’ he remarked and burst into laughter.
• I frowned at him, wondering why he was laughing, and at the same time, I never imagined that one of the princes could be carefree. I stared at him as he laughed. I was intrigued by his different character.
• ‘’I see you like me,’’ his hand touched my left cheek, rubbed it gently, and then pulled me closer to himself.
• ‘’what are you doing?’’ I protested, but he placed his hand on my mouth, and I suddenly lost my voice. He lowered his head and whispered into my left ear.
• ‘’I know you want me,’’ he chuckled, and his sultry voice sent goosebumps to my body. He sounded like a walking temptation, and I shamelessly did not resist him.
• It must be the bond; that was what I thought until he said something that made me regain my senses. ‘’Have my child first, and I will give you the freedom you want,’’ he nibbled on my ear.
• I pushed him backward with all of my might and slapped him on the chest.
• Amaya gasped and fell to the ground while apologizing to the prince, but she was ignored. As if she had not gotten enough, she stood up and rushed to slap me like always but was stopped by the prince.
• ‘’no one asked you to hit her!’’ The prince shouted at her and dropped her hand. ‘’I see how she is wounded on the head, but you are not doing anything about it!’’
• ‘’Prince Jeremy, I…..’’
• Jeremy? His name was Jeremy, the one I met Ethan last night, and the first prince was Nolan. Now that I knew their names, it didn’t change the fact that none of them recognized me as their mate.
• ‘’I see how she is reeking of silver because you locked her up in the silver room!’’Jeremy raised my hand, revealing the blisters in my hand. ‘’she is our vessel, but yet you treat her like this. How is she supposed to carry our children!’’
• I was startled by his change in reaction. He was different from the other princes in quickly noticing my wounds. The first prince also noticed my scars, but I hated that he was about to force me to sleep with him.
• ‘’Prince Jeremy, I am sorry,’’ Amaya apologized. ‘’I am only following the orders of the Luna Queen. This breeder stabbed the first prince, and I was ordered to lock her up. ‘’
• ‘’By my mother?’’ Jeremy asked and sighed heavily. ‘’I have to find out about that but….’’
• I yanked my hand freed from his before he could finish. What was I expecting from him? To save me? I must be delusional because that would never happen. ‘’I need to see my brother and save him,’’ I said to Amaya and entered the car, but Jeremy grabbed my hand.
• ‘’what the hell are you doing? Do you have any idea what they are going to do to your brother!’’ he yelled at me. ‘’it is better not to see it.’’
• ‘’Don’t you dare me what to do!’’ I retorted. ‘’The only reason why I am in this deep mess in the first place is that the royals created a stupid law, and now, the ones below have to suffer for it,’’ I bite my lips to hold back the tears as I think about my village. How everyone was brutally murdered. ‘’why am I even talking to you about this when you are a royal prince!’’ I yanked my hand freed from his and entered into the Van.
• Jeremy tried to enter after me, but Amaya stopped him. ‘’I apologize for this, Your Highness, but the Luna Queen ordered this,’’ she bowed and entered the car with me. ‘’start the car,’’ she gave orders to the driver and then turned to face me. ‘’how I wish I could strangle you right now!’’ she clenched her fists and inhaled deeply. ‘’I just hoped that you learn your lesson once you see the punishment the Luna Queen has for you.’’
• I closed my eyes and leaned against the window, ignoring her yelling. I was not in the mood for her. I was ready for any punishment as long as my brother would not be affected.
• I thought about the princes, and how they all seemed different with the bit of interaction, I had with them. The first prince, Nolan, seemed ruthless, and the second prince, Jeremy, was carefree but had the character of a playboy. In contrast, the last prince, Ethan, defined the I don’t care about your type. There is me, the one mated to all three of them, but I was the only one who felt the connection as they were either pretending not to feel the mate bond or they hated me for being a rankless wolf.
• What a crazy life.
• I had no idea how long we had been driving because my eyes were closed, and I was lost in my world. I fluttered my eyes open until I felt a soft tap on my back and realized the van had stopped. Before I could even blink, I was dragged out of the truck by one of the guards who was in the car with us.
• When I was out of the van, I closed my eyes for a few seconds as the sun shone brightly into my eyes, and for someone who had not seen the sun in a while, I was amazed, but all of that soon ended when I looked forward and noticed that my brother was tied to a tree and he was not alone. Another girl was beside him, and my eyes widened in shock when I recognized her as our neighbor’s daughter.
• ‘’Cody, Aaliyah!’’ I gasped and tried to move forward, but the guards held me down. I looked around and noticed we were in the famous market square I used to hear about in my village. It was the most giant square in the whole of the kingdom. It was a square that joined all the realms, and they called it the center realm.
• ‘’what are my brother and that girl doing there!’’ I shouted at Amaya, who was standing in front of me. ‘’I will take the punishment myself. Let them go!’’
• Amaya turned to face me and laughed. ‘’Do you know why this place is called the center realm aside from the fact that it connected the three realms?’’ she asked, but I didn’t respond because I was focused on my brother and Aaliyah, who was tied to the tree. ‘’This place is called the center realm because of the blood spilled in this square!’’ she answered her question and laughed aloud. ‘’Today, your brother and that girl join those whose blood will be spilled here!’’
• My eyes widened and almost popped out of the socket when I saw a guard place a sword on their necks. ‘’no!’’ I yelled and tried to break free from the guards, but they were two times stronger than before. ‘’let me go!’’ I kicked my legs. ‘’I am the one who stabbed the prince, and so I should be punished instead! Let me go!’’
• Amaya turned back to face me and gave me a resounding slap, and my screams stopped. ‘’if you had accepted your fate, then you wouldn’t be in this situation. Who the hell do you think you are!’ she yelled at me and grabbed my chin. ‘’By now, you should know who rules our world, and there are things that you shouldn’t have done, but your stupidity didn’t let you know that, and they are going to die because of you!’’
• I shook my head and screamed. ‘’No!’’ Tears streamed down my face as I continued kicking my legs. ‘’I can’t let you kill them!’’ I raised my head to face them and noticed my brother staring back at me with a smile. It made me remember how he had always talked about his dreams and how he was always playing around with Aaliyah, and now, they were going to die all because of me. ‘’Cody! Aaliyah,’’ I cried out and bit hard on the first guard holding my arm. He punched me in the face, but I didn’t let go, and even though I was bleeding out from my head, I didn’t let go. Finally, he let go of my hand, and I could break free from the other guard.
• ‘’I am not going to allow you to die!’’ I shouted and ran towards them, but Amaya grabbed me by my blanket and tried to stop me from moving forward. I removed the blanket from around me, not caring if I was naked and being watched by a lot of people who had gathered in the square.
• I had to protect them and stop them from dying. They were my only family and what was left of our village. If they die, I would end up hating myself for not being able to save their lives.
• As I got closer, I saw the royal guard raise his sword, and my heart lurched in my chest. But then, something unexpected happened. I lost my balance and stumbled, causing me to hit my head on the hard ground accidentally. I felt my head ringing as I tried to push myself up, but my vision was blurred, and my limbs felt weak.
• I struggled to stand up, disoriented and dizzy, and then I felt something wet splatter on my body. The bright red blood stained my face. I could barely see anything, and I let out a scream. And slowly, I fell to the ground, cursing at myself for not being able to save them, but I heard a familiar voice and a hand caught me before I could fall to the ground,
• ‘’Easy.’’ The voice sounded husky, yet again, I could smell the unusual scent only the princes had on them.
• They were here.
