• "What is it mother, you know I have some business to deal with," Dimitri said looking at his watch, for started he know how his mother can be, and meanwhile he had this nagging feeling that she was about to ask them to do something, he didn't want to do.
• "Well, I know you both, haven't had the opportunity to get to know yourself well, so I was wondering if you both can go out on a date and just spend time together alone," she dropped the bomb, and Mia sighed in relief, while Dimitri looked displeased with the idea.
• "Dimitri, I know that look, and don't try to stand her up, make sure you're there to spend them with Mia, do I make myself clear," she hushed while he gave her a tight smile.
• "Crystal clear mother, I will see you later," he said and kissed her cheeks before leaving their presence like he was in some kind of hurry.
• Mia left, with her bodyguard following her closely. She didn't know why she gets pissed anytime she finds his presence close to her.
• "What troubles you milady," he questioned her in a polite manner, while she hissed in anger and banged the door at his face while he chuckled a bit, by her behavior.

• It's been almost a week now, and the tables were yet to turn around for Anabelle, she was still locked in the room, with only the maids bringing her food and cleaning the room. She wasn't tied to the bed like before, she could move freely in the room and her luggage was later handed over to her.
• She had tried screaming, crying, or even trying to break the door, but all to no avail. She gave up already on ever leaving this place. She has constantly demanded for an explanation as to why she was kept on hold without no explanation, but nobody cared to hear her out, they were all following the instructions given to them.
• She was in deep thoughts, even her phone rang returning her back to reality as she stare at the caller's id, only for a smile to form on her face. She couldn't contain her joy, she was going to hear her son's voice again, after so many days in here.
• "Liam baby," she called as tears dropped from her eyes, she cried earnestly as she heard the voice of that one person that gives her so much joy and peace.
• "I miss you so much my baby," she poured out and sniffed in, trying to hide the pain that reflected in my voice. I didn't wait for him to worry, I wanted him to know his mother was strong and this too shall pass.
• "Mommy, when would you be back, you promise to watch movies with me, " he said in his tiny voice, while she held her breath for a moment thinking of what to tell him.
• "I'm just stuck with work, no need to worry, I'll be back soon and I love you so much Liam, so very much," she told him like it was some reassurance before disconnecting from the call. She burst into another round of cries, and immediately the call ended, all those held emotions were pouring out and she didn't know how to think or what to do.
• Why does this have to happen to her?, Why did she find herself in such a situation, when she knew correctly that she was innocent and had nothing to do with the golden watch in her bag? Why?.

• Dimitri on the other hand, was outside her door when he heard her confess her undying love to whoever Liam was. He was pissed that he wanted to spill blood that instant. He texted his investigator and gave him every detail about Annabelle to find out who Liam was in the next four hours.
• "Whoever that man is? I will tear him apart and I would make you mine Anabelle. You're going tobe in love with only one person and that person is me, just me," he said looking angry as he stomped his foot and walked out of the door.
• Mia
• My phone beeped and I saw it was a message from Dimitri. I sighed as I read out the location of the garden he wanted me to meet him. I don't know whether to reject the offer or not, but the thought of hurting his mom, made me cringe a bit, so I freshen up and got ready for our planned date.
• As supposed, I went there with Ivan, which was pretty annoying as I still find him to be my stalker, the only difference is that right now he is supposed to be protecting me as my bodyguard.
• I pressed my phone, as the ride there was silent. I caught him stealing glances at me from the mirror in front of him, which only made me more angry as I tried so much to ignore it.
• "Do you mind driving, or do you have a thing for getting us killed?" I said to him rudely as I rolled my eyes, and he smiled at me like something was funny and continue driving without paying no much attention to me as I wanted.
• We arrived at the garden, and I gasped at how beautiful and wide it was. It was covered with different green leaves and flowers that surrounds it, making it so beautiful. I stare at the neon light that was used to decorate the place and I couldn't imagine how beautiful this place would be at night.
• "Wow, it's beautiful," I mumbled and sat on the empty seat we found close to the entrance, while Ivan stood behind me as I fed my eyes with the beauty of the garden.

• After a few hours and I was already getting tired of waiting for Dimitri, I had tried calling him, but he keeps rejecting them like I am some disturbance or something. It was never my idea, but his mom and if he knew he couldn't make it, he should have informed me beforehand.
• I stomped my foot angrily when I turned around and didn't find my bodyguard standing behind me anymore. "I guess everyone keeps getting tired of me," I thought to myself sighing heavily. I mean do I blame them, he couldn't wait all day and Maybe he needed a break, I thought silently.
• "Here, I'm sorry he kept you waiting, but no lady deserves such a treatment, so have this to calm your nerves," I heard Ivan speak behind me, and when I turned around, he handed over my favorite flavor of Ice cream, making me salivate.
• "How did you know?" I was about to ask when my phone beeped and it was a message from Dimitri asking if we could reschedule and that made me furious.
• "What a waste of my time, could you take me back to the mansion," I said fighting the tears that threaten to fall as I walked to where the car was parked.

• I stayed silent as I let the shareholders give their opinion concerning the issue at hand. My mind wasn't here at all. All I could think of was who Liam was and what his relationship was with Anabelle. The thought of hearing the news that she moved on even after breaking her promise to me, made my heart bleed as I didn't think if I could leave without her in my life anymore.
• "What do you think Mr. Vladamir, do we sign this deal," I heard bringing me back to consciousness, as I stare at everyone I'm the room who awaited my response.
• "There isn't any lose at the moment, based on all the facts you all have stated, I say we give it a try for a year and see if there would be an increase in sales," I tell them while they thought deeply before agreeing to my idea.
• "You have a good point, , let's go with that," one of the shareholders said while the others corresponded positively.

• I went back to the mansion after I texted Mia about rescheduling our date. What I cared about right now was Anabelle and I need to see her immediately. Without any second thought, I barged into her room to find her clad in her towels as she creamed her body which was enticing to my eyes.
• She was startled by my outburst, but later returned to what she was doing, when she knew I was the one.
• "I don't know how long you plan to keep me here, but just know it would never change the fact that I hate you, it only gives me more reason to hate you more," she said while I smiled staring at her body.
• "Still acting tough, you're just building walls around you, my love, walls you very well know I would break easily," I said huskily as I got close to her, while she looked at me in anger.
• I was about to say something, when my phone beeped and it was a message from the investigator saying he got no news about Liam and he needed more time, causing me to grab her neck in anger.
• "Release me what are you doing," she said we to free herself from my gold around her neck.
• What are you hiding from me, my love? what are you hiding? I asked as I sniffed the smell of her hair, which calmed my nerves as my hold around her neck reduce.
• "I hate you, Dimitri," she said to my hearing, while I smashed my lips on her forcefully when she bite on them looking at me with fury in her eyes...
• And you love Liam?" I asked causing her to be startled as she stare at me with wide eyes...
• "How? How did you know?" she manage to say gasping for air...
