• “I don't want you to do this,” he said, his reluctance showing in the way he firmly held her to his chest while he shifted to his original form. Aspen was especially surprised that he took Kailin's form without much fuss because Lance was always particular about how human figures were one of the creatures he could not mimic with his powers.
