Chapter 20

• Eva runs towards the entrance, and Rafael puts Lily down and runs towards the entrance. He had to stop Eva at any cost; if he couldn't stop her today, then maybe he would lose her forever. As he caught up to Eva, he grabbed her arm gently, turning her around to face him. "Please, Eva, let me explain," Rafael pleaded, his heart racing with fear of losing her. Eva looked into his eyes.
• Her eyes were full of tears, which expressed the condition of her wounded heart.
• She tries to free herself from his grip but Rafael pulls her away to the other side where they were alone. Rafael could see the pain and confusion in Eva‘s eyes as she tried to pull away from him.
