Chapter 14

• When Eva opened her eyes in the morning, she was alone in bed. Rafael was in the kitchen as usual and was preparing breakfast for her. No one can say that this man is a mafia leader.
• Eva walks slowly towards the kitchen and smiles at Rafael. She walks towards the kitchen counter, and Rafael smiles at her, after which he comes towards her and kisses her on the forehead.
• Eva feels a wave of warmth and love wash over her as Rafael’s lips touch her forehead. She wraps her arms around his waist, feeling grateful for his presence in her life. The smell of pancakes fills the air, making her stomach growl in anticipation. Rafael pulls away slightly, his eyes locking with hers as he whispers, "Good morning, my love." Eva‘s heart flutters at the endearment, and she leans in to kiss him softly on the lips.
