Chapter 3 Two Nore Days
- Sierra pov.
- "Only one day left for him to come for me," I thought, my heart heavy with dread. I hadn't even left my room, nor spoken to anyone. The sight of my surroundings was bleak and desolate, a reflection of the despair I felt.
- I still couldn't believe that I had been kicked out of the Moonhowler Academy. My eyes closed as a tear trickled down my cheek, leaving a trail on my dress. I felt as though I were broken, shattered by the sudden turn of events. In just one day, my life had become a living hell.
- Staring at the wall, I appeared insane, lost in my thoughts. My mother had been calling out to me, but I refused to answer. I sat there, waiting for the earth to swallow me whole.
- As my phone rang, I looked down and saw that it was Nora calling. She had been trying to reach me since yesterday, after I had left the school building. I knew she was hurting, too.
- Alex had come to check on me, but I had locked my door, not wanting anyone to visit. I closed my eyes, imagining what my life would be like after tomorrow. "He will come to take me, and then I will have to live with him forever," I thought, tears streaming down my face. My heart was heavy with pain.
- "Why?" I whispered, holding my head in my hands, my face buried in my knees as I cried.
- Suddenly, my eyes were drawn to the window, and I looked up to see yellow eyes staring back at me. It was as if someone was calling out to me, beckoning me.
- I turned towards the window, jumping down and transforming into my wolf form as I ran towards the alley. I didn't know what I was doing, but I knew I had to follow that direction.
- Soon, I stopped and looked around, trying to understand the reason why I had come here in the first place. A sound from behind caught my attention, and I turned around to see a large black wolf walking towards me.
- I stood there, staring at the wolf, wondering if it was the one who had called me. I changed back into my human form, still clothed, and slowly walked towards the wolf. It was as if I were being drawn to it, just as I had been drawn to the Lycan Alpha.
- I kneel as I stare into his eyes, which were way too attractive. I run my hands over the wolf's body, feeling how soft it is. The sight of his fur and the smell of his wildness surround me as I explore every inch of him.
- Suddenly, my eyes turn a bit blue as I continue to stare at the wolf. I move my hands slowly over his body as he closes his eyes, feeling my touch. I can't explain the strange draw I feel towards him, jumping out of my window and running towards the alley just to meet this wolf.
- "Why don't you change back?" I whisper into the wolf's eyes as they open and stare at me. Maybe this could be a different mate.
- After a long while of staring, the wolf starts changing into his human form. As I sit there, hoping to see someone different, I break down as I see that it's the Lycan Alpha.
- "You!" I say, scared as I move back, staring at him. He moves towards me, trying to touch me, but I stand up and run for my life.
- "Get away from me!"
- I start running back in the direction of my house, my heart pounding in my chest. "What was I thinking?" I look back, seeing that he's just standing there, not moving or chasing after me.
- I stop and turn to face him as I see a sad expression on his face.
- I stand there, trying to determine if I'm actually here or dreaming. He doesn't move, only stands, looking at me without saying a word. I start walking slowly towards him as I suddenly feel so sad. "Why wasn't he chasing after me?" I feel scared just seeing him staring at me, but he still isn't moving.
- Soon, I stop, trying to see if it's his plan to make me come to him so he can catch me.
- "I move back, just thinking about that," I thought to myself, taking a step away from him. I looked up at his face, and noticed that every time I moved away from him, he tried to speak, as if he didn't want me to leave.
- I stood there, taking in the sight of my mate, who looked like a beast in front of me. The scent of his musk filled my nostrils, and I could hear his ragged breathing.
- I soon found myself walking back towards him, drawn in by some unknown force. If he was actually what people said about him, then why wasn't he attacking me?
- Just then, I was in front of him, staring into his eyes. "Mate," he said, raising his hairy hands to touch my face.
- I could feel the roughness of his hands as I moved closer to him, placing my hands on top of his. I looked up into his eyes, and he stared back at me with hopefulness.
- "Why?" I whispered to him, as he moved his face closer to mine. "Why does it have to be you?" I whispered, feeling his warm breath on my face.
- His hands moved to my cheeks as he noticed the tears that were falling down my face. He pulled me closer to his chest, and I felt my body relax all of a sudden. I found myself closing my eyes, wanting to stay in his embrace forever.
- "Why was I feeling this way all of a sudden?" I tried to understand why I wasn't running, instead of relaxing more and more to his touch.
- "Please don't abandon me," I heard him whisper, his voice on the verge of tears. I couldn't understand why he was this way, but for some reason, I felt sad.
- Soon, I found myself falling into an empty slumber, feeling content and safe in his arms. It was as if I was meant to be there, as if we were two puzzle pieces that fit perfectly together. Before I could reply to his question, I slept off.
