- Looking at the young man, Anna blanched in fright. "Just you wait!" she threatened. After ordering the few burly men on the ground to get up, she left in an embarrassed manner.
- It took a long time before I finally collected myself. Looking at the young man before me, I said in a somewhat hoarse voice, "Thank you so much."
- The man raised an eyebrow at my words. After picking up what was on the floor, he said without treating me as a stranger, "I'm Charles Chax, and I'm here because my sis has asked me to bring you some local produce. Here's the stuff." As he spoke, he casually placed what he was holding onto the coffee table.
