Chapter 18 Dad's Funeral
- She was so enraged she started huffing and puffing. With a shadowy face, she furiously leered at me. "Won't shed a tear until you see a body, huh, Vivian? You just wait!" Finished, she stomped her way out of the ward on her heels.
- I heaved a sigh of relief before getting out of bed. Right now, I had no time to waste. Dad's body was waiting to be cremated, so I couldn't afford to dwell in the pain.
- After transporting Dad's body to the funeral home, Mom headed back to fetch Adam to the funeral home. The boy only realized something was up when he reached the funeral home. He suddenly stood at the doors and was reluctant to enter.
