Chapter 42 Our pack

• He heard voices and didn't know from where. The darkness enveloped him and his entire body refused to listen to it. But it didn't hurt. Only exhaustion was what was present. He didn't like not knowing what was happening or what had happened, he didn't like not being in control of the situation. He barely remembered the events after his heat began.
• First the heat, then the need and the shuddering of his body to claim a female and knowing that he had one waiting for him had been worse the torture to the point of almost losing control. Then that sweet aroma that prompted him to run and catch it, to devour it whole.
• A pain in his arm followed after that and the scars from his own bite would not disappear, as did not any mark that was intended for the link, even if it lost its effect by not being on the nape of the neck. As the searing heat of desire that devoured him lessened, news that made him run away regardless of what he left behind. The sensation of arms enveloping him, the caresses along his back and finally the darkness engulfed him again.
