Chapter 13 Hottest Man

• The wind blows hard, almost lifting Derek out of the car. He was driving his new red and black 2021 Corvette as fast as he could. Driving fast used to be his favorite thing, but now he was caught up with feelings for a girl and that feeling has turned his world upside down.
• Tonight, he has to go to an art gallery showing an up-and-coming artist that he dated when he was younger. He always thought her paintings were okay, but nothing to write home about. Now she is having a showing at Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art.
• He doesn’t want to go but he knows that June is going to be there, and he wants to see her. He was frustrated that she hasn’t called or texted him since the last time they were together. This has never happened to him before.
