Chapter 29 The Unfavorable Gift 2

• Silver drove at full speed to Moonstone, and a journey that should have taken seven hours only took five. As we pulled up to the border of the Moonstone pack, no one stopped us. Their border Power was weak, and even though there were warriors positioned there, none dared to stop me. After all, I was the War Alpha and didn't take orders from ranks lower than mine.
• "That’s his home," I muttered to Silver as we drove through the town and stopped before a black gate. Silver honked for them to open up, and just like the warriors at the border, the guards didn’t bother to question us. They opened the gate, and we drove in. "We’re here," Silver announced as he stopped before a mansion.
• I frowned at the building, expecting to see something larger than mine, but it looked smaller. I wondered how Sapphire had survived in such a small house while enduring Dane's worst.
