• I could only stare dumbly as Xander carried me in his arms, flying through the sky with his wings flapping like those of an eagle.
• After a few hours, we arrived at the Red Moon Pack, and he flew down until his feet touched the ground. I squinted my eyes, looking around the pack, which looked very different from the Blue Moon Pack; there was a kind of silence all around, and everyone spoke slowly and walked a step at a time, as if they were afraid of something.
