• Ingrid wasn't the only one there. Asher and Samuel were in the crowd as well. When Samuel saw Daniel entering the hall, his face darkened as he glared at Daniel while clenching his jaw. This brat is still alive. That means that the two assassins have failed me! Daniel walked over as heads turned around to stare at him. Tigre made his way through the crowd to greet Daniel once he saw him.
• "Sir," Tigre called out. Daniel frowned when he saw the man. "What are you doing here?" Tigre scratched the back of his head with a bashful grin on his face. "I wanted to look around to see if I'm interested in any of the items being auctioned," he replied.
