• Helen watched Fernando leave her room, while her eyes were filled with nostalgia, she swallowed the hard lump in her throat so as not to cry freely. He picked up a sheet of medical report, blinked twice to make sure what he said there was true, crumpled it up and pressed it to his chest, and though he avoided it, a raw tear rolled down his cheek.
• "Hi Helen, are you okay?" Matt's voice pulled her out of her thoughts, he walked in without her noticing.
