• Helen ran desperately to Elise's room, every minute that passed, was a minute less for her.
• When she arrived, a few doctors were surrounding her, they had just disconnected all the devices that kept her alive, Helen only watched as Elise lay on her gurney, completely weak, her face was haggard and only sadness was reflected. That sadness that showed with certainty that death was near.
• Helen approached slowly, her face was drenched with tears falling at the knowledge that her friend would be leaving this earthly plane, before she came all the way closer, she took out a handkerchief and wiped the remains of tears and tried to smile at Elise, who was looking at her wistfully.
