Chapter 1 My Seven Sisters
- When Finnley Novak was thirteen, he went on a vacation to the Aegean Sea with his parents. Their luxurious yacht exploded, and Finnley was the only one who miraculously survived.
- With no ID, no money, and no idea where he was, Finnley almost starved to death in a foreign land. He had to rely on begging just to keep himself alive.
- Later, Finnley was sold to a farm owner by human traffickers. Life on the farm was hell—he endured endless bullying, and beatings that left him covered in bruises, and was never given enough to eat. Pushed to his breaking point, Finnley grabbed an axe and killed the farm owner, finally escaping that nightmare.
- After wandering aimlessly for half a year, he caught the attention of the leader of a hitman organization called the Wyrm Syndicate. The leader took him in and sent him to a youth training camp.
- Five years of grueling, inhumane training turned Finnley into a highly skilled assassin. He completed hundreds of missions, often sustaining injuries but never failing once.
- When the leader of the Wyrm Syndicate was assassinated by an old enemy, the organization was left leaderless. Finnley, with his extraordinary abilities, stepped up and became the new leader of the hitman army.
- A dragon cannot be confined to a pond forever.
- From the moment Finnley ascended to the throne of leadership, a thirst for domination began to grow in his heart. Under his leadership, the Wyrm Syndicate rapidly expanded in power, eventually becoming a globally feared mercenary group. Finnley himself gained a fearsome title—the Supreme Wyrm.
- One day, when the king of a major nation refused to cooperate with the Wyrm Syndicate, Finnley stormed the royal palace alone, wiped out the entire security battalion, beheaded the king, and installed a new ruler. By the time he was 20, Finnley's influence had already spread across more than a dozen countries, and he was planning to expand globally.
- In the presidential suite of the luxurious Golden Sail Resort & Spa, two stunning women stood with swords in hand.
- Sara Volkov, her golden hair flowing, was the younger sister of the king of Bearia. Her freshly pressed military uniform highlighted her fierce yet beautiful figure as she gripped her sword and stared down her opponent. "Ivanelle Lupo, you can't beat me. Lupania will never be a match for Bearia," she said coldly.
- Ivanelle Lupo, the daughter of Lupania's king, was tall and graceful. She wore a medieval-style princess gown and let out a mocking laugh. "Sara Volkov, Finn's into delicate young women like me. You're too old and don't know how to have fun. If Bearia wants oil, I suggest you find a girl under 20; maybe then Finn will be interested. Haha!"
- Sara gritted her teeth. "Today, we settle this! Life or death!" With that, she swung her blade and attacked.
- Ivanelle didn't back down, countering with her sword, and the two clashed, their weapons ringing out.
- Meanwhile, Finnley sat leisurely nearby, sipping a glass of red wine, watching the duel unfold. The winner would stay at the hotel with him for their honeymoon and sign a massive old contract.
- Suddenly, a burly man in a military uniform rushed in, whispering urgently into Finnley's ear, "Lord Finnley, we found the person you were looking for. He's still alive…"
- "He's alive?!" Finnley's expression turned sharp as he stood up. "They must pay for my parents' death! Prepare the plane immediately."
- Then, he turned to the two women still locked in combat. "Hold it! I'm canceling today's meeting. I have to head home."
- Sara fumed. "You can't cancel it just like that, Lord Finnley! Bearia is waiting for my report."
- Ivanelle, equally confused, asked, "Finn, are you really going to stand me up?"
- With a grin, he walked over, pulled both women into his arms, and gave them each a quick kiss on the cheek. "Don't be mad. The Wyrm Syndicate never breaks its promises. Whatever you want, I'll give it to you. But you'll have to wait a month."
- Before they could say another word, he gave each of them a playful slap. "Behave, or the Wyrm Syndicate will cut ties with your countries. I have to go." And with that, he disappeared.
- That very night, Finnley's private jet landed in Eastport, the richest coastal city in the eastern Aurian Empire.
- Finnley's return wasn't marked by any grand gestures, nor did he alert the upper echelons of the Aurian Empire. If the military learned he was in Eastport, they'd likely try to strike a deal to ally with the Wyrm Syndicate.
- Finnley's family had been brutally murdered abroad—there was no way he could leave that blood feud unavenged. If he made too much noise, his enemies would surely flee before he had his chance.
- After landing, he immediately traveled to a secluded mountain forest 60 miles north of Eastport. He stopped in front of a simple wooden cabin and knocked on the door.
- The door opened, and a frail old man appeared. Though his eyes were clouded with age, they lit up with recognition when he saw Finnley. "Is it really you, Finn?"
- "Grandpa, it's me!" Finnley rushed into the old man's arms, and the two wept together.
- Finnley briefly told his grandfather about his life abroad, carefully avoiding any mention of his position as the Supreme Wyrm of the Wyrm Syndicate. He didn't want to expose his grandfather to unnecessary danger.
- "Grandpa, before my mom died, she told me you know who killed them. I've been searching for you all these years. I never expected you'd be hiding out here! Please, tell me who did it. Who wiped out our family?"
- Melvin Zander wiped his tears and said, "Finn, I've been investigating your parents' deaths for years. I've always suspected Damon Fenwick, but I haven't been able to find any solid evidence. I'm a man of honor, and I'd never use my skills to kill the innocent. Your sister, Noelle, is now a detective in the major crimes unit, and I've been guiding her to investigate Damon secretly…"
- "And what about my seven sisters? Are they doing okay?"
- Years ago, Melvin had adopted seven orphaned girls. They were all older than Finnley, and he'd taught them medicine and martial arts. Young Finnley had often visited Melvin, and he'd become very close with the girls, playing with them all the time.
- Melvin's face showed a hint of pride. "After your parents' tragedy, I sent each of them to different families. Now, each one of them is doing incredibly well.
- "Melanie is now the CEO of the Eastport Royale, Juliette joined the special forces thanks to her incredible shooting skills, and she's been quickly rising through the ranks, and Serena became a teacher at Eastport Junior High after graduating from Highcrest Institute of Education.
- "Yvette, on the other hand, is the director of Riverside Medical Center, Eastport's largest private hospital. Sabrina used to be a flight attendant, but this year, she got promoted to co-pilot. Noelle is now a senior detective in the major crimes unit at the Eastport P.D. while Madeline is attending Highcrest Film Academy and is also a social media influencer with millions of followers."
- Finnley's eyes gleamed as Melvin described his sisters' successes. As soon as he finished, Finnley eagerly asked, "Grandpa, I remember you once said that when they grew up, they'd all marry me. We even signed marriage agreements when we were kids. You still have those, right?"
- Melvin chuckled. "Ah, you were just kids back then. Even if they did like you, they can't all marry you. You can only pick one. Besides, people change—do you really think they'd take that seriously now? Especially since they all think you're dead."
- "Oh, by the way, Melanie already has a fiance. His name's Spencer Fitzalan, and his family is among the top ten in Eastport. I heard he's planning a grand proposal party with her tomorrow at 9 a.m."
- Finnley sneered. "The Fitzalans may be one of Eastport's top families, but that guy's not worthy of marrying my sister."
