Chapter 3 You're Bigger Than I Imagined

  • Noah's Pov
  • "Your girl looks good, Noah. " Jasper, my Delta and second in command said. I glared at him, pissed that he had the audacity to look at her and then turned towards where she was working, hoping to get a glimpse of her smile, but she was seriously concentrating on the drink that was mixing.
  • I didn't know what I was doing here, it was too risky, hell, who was I deceiving, I knew damn well why I was here, my Lycan and I missed her. It had been over a month since we saw her and we were going crazy.
  • "Dude, don't you think it's about time you claimed her? You know it's risky for her to keep roaming around without a pack. Her potion is going to wear off someday and it doesn't even work on Lycans. Most especially, you need her." Caleb said and took a chug of his drink. Nothing he was saying was a lie, I had to do something about Storm but I kept dancing around the issue. Caleb was one of my betas and he didn't have a filter on him.
  • The ruckus from the bar stand piqued my interest and I turned to see a bunch of young boys spewing out nonsense and getting violent with Storm. My lycan rushed up trying to surface and I had to do everything to hold him back. The smashing of the bottle was the last straw, I growled and jumped to my feet. Jasper and Caleb immediately held me back.
  • "Let me go, I need to kill those bastards." I snarled and my claws came out. Someone was going to die soon.
  • "Calm down, just calm down. It's being dealt with it." Caleb said and gestured back to the bar stand where the boys were being led outside. I calmed down a bit and retracted my claws but my eyes were still red. My Lycan was refusing to release its power.
  • I left the bar and stood by my car taking in deep breaths, the bar was going to close soon, and I just wanted one last look at her before I left. I saw her come out, her red hair twirling around as she walked down the walkway, why the fuck was she alone? I paid these people enough to make sure that she was never alone at this time of the day.
  • I dug into my jacket to call the manager of the bar when Storm's scream rang loud in my head. The phone slipped from my fingers and I followed her scent and that of four other humans, those darned boys, my lycan grinned wickedly, it was going to have fun ripping them flesh from bone.
  • Storm was on the ground holding her belly, I could see that she was in pain, and I saw red. One of the boys kicked her again, I grabbed him and threw him against the wall mid-shift. I shifted into my Lycan and gave him full control, I let him deal with them as he saw fit and I was very satisfied with the outcome.

  • Storm's POV
  • "What the fuck is going on? Who the hell are you?" I screamed at the creature in front of me. We were both covered in the blood of the four boys or what remained of them. He came closer to me but I scurried back until I hit my back against the wall.
  • "Don't come any closer, stay away from me." I raised my hands in surrender. He whimpered and it was almost as if he was sad that I refused him. Something pricked my heart that I made him sad. He turned around and left or so I thought.
  • As I raised myself from the ground, I saw his silhouette and his scent hit me so hard that I almost stumbled and fell, fresh pine and mint. Fuck my life, of all the times and places I could meet my mate, it had to be in a dark alley surrounded by mauled bodies. I took a step forward and locked eyes with the clearest pair of blue eyes I have ever seen, my heart skipped a beat as I saw the object of my fantasy for the past two years.
  • "Fuck, shit. So you exist. You're bigger than I imagined." My hand quickly went to my mouth, I had a way of saying the weirdest things when I was nervous.
  • He chuckled and stood directly in front of me, towering over me. "Yes, I exist. Should I apologize for being bigger? Don't you like it?" His lips were quipped at the corners, good to know he was amused at my predicament.
  • "No, it's fine." We stared at each other for a few minutes, unsure of what to say to each other.
  • I've never been one for awkward silences. "I'm Storm." I stretched out my hand to shake him and he returned the gesture and then drew me in for an embrace.
  • "Noah. Goddess, I've waited so long for this." He whispered in my ear as he sniffed me. Tingles rushed from my head down to my toes and I fisted his shirt not wanting to let go.
  • "MINE." He grunted in my ear and the butterflies in my belly turned into an elephant stampede. He backed me up against the wall and gripped my waist tightly.
  • "Erm, Noah, as much as I would love to continue this, can we go somewhere where we are not surrounded by blood and dead bodies, it really starting to creep me out." Although I wasn't cold, I shivered in his arms.
  • "Sure, I'll send someone to clean this up." He led me out of the alley and put me in his car. I felt at peace and I didn't know when I fell asleep. I opened my eyes when I felt myself being carried, and the first thing I saw was a chandelier. Yep, I was in the wrong place, I panicked.
  • "Where am I?" I tapped Noah on his shoulder. He looked down at me and grinned. My heart skipped a bit.
  • "My house. You fell asleep so I had to bring you here."
  • "Oh okay. I can walk though." I didn't know what to say, I looked around, and everything in the house screamed money and power. From the Persian chairs to the soft velvet rugs to the intimidating chandelier, this man was packing a lot of money.
  • "I know that, but I like carrying you, I've waited for a long time to carry you." He entered a room that I knew was his because his scent was all over the place. He seated me down carefully on the bed and knelt in front of me, his eyes had darkened and were completely focused on me.
  • "Hi," I said nervously, his gaze was too much to hold and I dropped my eyes to peer at my hands.
  • He tilted my chin up and fixed my gaze on him. "Hello there." He cradled my face in his hands and came closer, I closed my eyes anticipating what was coming next.
  • Noah's soft lips covered mine and I sighed in satisfaction, I ran my hands through his hair and opened my mouth for his tongue to enter, we fought for dominance for a while but I let him win. Noah broke the kiss and stood up.
  • "Fuck, it's even better than my dreams. I'm going to enjoy ravishing you this night." He growled and pulled his shirt while I pulled off mine.
  • "Same." I laid back on the bed and he climbed over me. I couldn't believe my fantasy was finally coming to a reality. He kissed my lips again but this time more roughly but I wasn't complaining. His hands ran over my body, squeezing and grabbing my different body parts. His lips moved down to my earlobe and he nibbled at it.
  • "Goddess!" I arched my back at the sensations that ran through my body.
  • "She's not here and even if she was, there was nothing she could do for you," Noah mumbled before returning to nibble my right ear.
  • "I don't want her here. " I gasped and clawed over his bare skin.
  • "Good. "He moved down to my neck and licked it for a few seconds then pressed soft kisses on his desired spot, I would be lying if I said I didn't know what was going to happen next. I felt his fangs gently graze over my skin.
  • " God, yes, yes!" I breathed out. Noah growled in approval and then sank his teeth in my skin, for what seemed like infinity, everything went silent then suddenly all the emotions we were both feeling rushed into my head and it was almost like there was someone else in my head.
  • "MINE." He raised his head and smiled at me, blood dripping from his lips. I was too aroused and love-drunk to notice how different his eye color was.
  • "Yours," I whispered. I raised my body and let him remove my underwear and watched hungrily as he removed him. I could tell that this was going to be a very long and satisfying night.
  • *******
  • And I was not wrong.
  • "Haah, that was… wow." I was short of words and out of breath but thoroughly satisfied. I smiled and rested my head on Noah's bare chest, drawing circles on it.
  • "I like the fact that you don't have words to describe what just happened because I don't as well." He kissed my hair. I drew myself up and looked him in the eyes but quickly recoiled back in shock.
  • "What the fuck?!" His eyes were red, I had never seen a werewolf with red eyes.
  • "What's wrong?" Noah asked in surprise, he moved to touch me but I quickly put some distance between us.
  • "Your eyes, they… they are red. How is that even possible?" I crossed my hands over my chest, suddenly feeling very exposed.
  • Noah's face scrunched up in worry and something like fear flashed in his eyes. I could feel fear in the room but I couldn't decipher if it was mine or his.
  • "Storm, I need you to calm down and listen to me. I'm just like you only a little bit different."
  • I cocked a disbelieving eyebrow at him. "How different?"
  • "I'm a Lycan." He said, I almost laughed.
  • "You're joking, right? Lycans don't exist, they are a myth." He needed to do better than that if he was trying to convince me.
  • "And werewolves, vampires, and witches were also known as myths but they exist." His voice was deadly serious but I didn't believe him, I couldn't believe him.
  • "I don't believe you," I argued with him.
  • "Do you want me to prove it to you?" He asked, his eyes flashing with anger.
  • "Yes." Once again, I spoke before thinking and ended up regretting it. Noah jumped off the bed and shifted into something I'd never seen before, it looked like a werewolf but it wasn't. I felt the room spin suddenly and the last thing I remember was my head hitting the ground.
