Chapter 164

• The King had sent his private jet to fly me to France. It was almost an eleven hour flight and I sat wondering what the King could possibly want from me. Apart from the invitation was a detailed itinerary of what to wear, when to be at the airport and when I would arrive at the King’s chateau.
• When I stepped off the jet a black SUV with dark tinted windows was waiting for me. The front door opened and a man stepped out dressed identically to Archibald opened the rear door for me. He bowed his head slightly as I climbed in and almost immediately the driver sped away from the jet.
• “Mr Grey, upon your arrival at the chateau, you will be shown to your quarters to freshen up. The King will receive you in his personal office for refreshments and your official meeting. Tonight the King hosts a ball in honor of the crown prince’s seventeenth birthday,” the man next to the driver said.
