• Asher suddenly peeled off his polo shirt to Peri’s shock, as well as the other people around them. And yet, the ladies ogled his perfect physique. Of course, they didn’t mind a foreigner taking off his shirt in the middle of the night with the pouring rain after a local band’s concert. The sight was something they couldn’t forget, especially Peri.
• ‘Oh, my God! Why in the world is he pulling this antic? Doesn’t he know what this does to every woman’s imagination? Let alone mine,’ she thought, wanting to look away but couldn’t. In spite of being sexually innocent, she was neither naïve nor stupid.
• “I don’t have an umbrella, unfortunately. Come, we have to go or you’ll be late for work tomorrow,” Asher urged her. He put the shirt over her head.
