Chapter 3 Thinking About Him
- PRIMROSE HOSPITAL
- ALESSIA'S POV
- ONE WEEK LATER.
- After that night at the club, I couldn't get the devil out of my fucked up head.
- Though I was disgusted by the thought of it, but, I couldn't stop myself from reminiscing that night, over and over again.
- I didn't have the guts to tell anyone about my ordeal with the devil himself, as I kept it to myself, and would probably do so until my last breath.
- No one would believe me, not even in a million years, as it sounds ridiculous for a stranger to force me to suck his cock.
- If only they knew.
- If only they were in my shoes and lastly,
- If only they saw him face to face. I was sure some might wet their panties due to how intimidating he looks and sounds.
- Every single thing about him screamed danger and intimidation.
- I knew better than to prove stubborn when I had little to no strength, compared to his.
- “ So, when are you giving me the invitation card?” A soft feminine voice jotted me out of my trance, and I flinched a little.
- “ Huh?”
- “ Earth to Alessia.” The lady, dressed in a doctor's coat with black hair reaching her waistline, waved at my face.
- “ What did you ask?” I arched my brow.
- “ When am I getting the invitation to your wedding or are you seriously not inviting your colleagues?” The lady furrowed her brow with a slight frown.
- “ There's no wedding anywhere, CeCe.” I shrugged, tightening the hold on the file in my hands.
- Only the thought of Lucas and Rachel ramming into each other, made me more angry.
- “ I don't get it. What do you mean?” CeCe shook her head with a small laugh.
- She obviously thought I was joking about it.
- “ I called off the wedding, CeCe, so there's no wedding anywhere.”
- I replied, walking down the hallway with my heels clicking the marble tiles.
- “ I think you're stressed because of work and preparation for the wedding. Don't you think you're taking this joke too far?” CeCe suddenly stopped walking, her eyes fixed on mine.
- “ Do I look like I'm joking? I caught Lucas fucking Rachel in her house, and you expect me to go on with the wedding?”
- I raised my voice higher than usual, attracting the attention of some of the nurses and patients.
- CeCe's eyes widened like the size of an orange and she took a step backwards like she was about to fall.
- Her fair face turned pale in a matter of seconds and her lips parted, wide enough for a thousand flies to walk in, majestically.
- “ Close your mouth, CeCe.” I mumbled, watching her funny expression.
- “ Are you serious or are you pulling my legs?” She finally jotted out of her trance and asked me.
- “ Why would I joke about something like that, if it's not true? He's been cheating on me with Rachel a few months ago, I was too foolish to even sense it.”
- I said, trying so hard to fight back the tears that threatened to leave my eyes.
- I had already made up my mind not to cry over a cougar like Lucas, but it hurt so much that I couldn't help it.
- “ I'm sorry, Alessia. I had no idea.”
- CeCe's voice became soft as she widened her arm to embrace me, but I stopped her with wide eyes.
- “ Don't, CeCe. Worry and pity doesn't look good on you. I'm pathetic, and I know that, but if you hug me, I might just throw up.”
- I said gagging, but she glared at me.
- “ Bitch! I was trying to comfort you. Seems you've gotten over him already.”
- If only I could get over him.
- Lucas and Rachel did more harm than good to me, and to top it all, they announced their engagement two days after I caught them cheating.
- They made me a fool and a third wheel.
- I already made up my mind never to trust men again.
- I will rather burn in hell than trust any man.
- “ Doctor Alessia, your attention is needed in ward 201.” The voice of a nurse came.
- “ Okay, I will be right there.” I replied and turned to CeCe.
- “ Talk to you later.” I forced a smile and walked away.
- Upon getting to the ward which was described by the nurse who came to call me, I met a man dressed in hospital wear.
- “ Hello, Mr. How are you feeling?” I asked once I made my way into the ward.
- “ You must be the doctor.” The patient said, staring at me.
- From my own perception, he looked totally fine, but since he was dressed in hospital wear, I guess he wasn't well after all.
- “ Yes, I'm the doctor.” I nodded.
- “ I'm feeling pains in my lower abdomen.” He stood up from the bed and pointed at his lower abdomen, causing me to gulp.
- “ Oh, I'm sorry but I only treat females. If it has anything to do with your body, I will have to call a male doctor to attend to you.” I immediately said and turned to leave.
- “ But I'm dying here. The pain isn't leaving anytime soon.” He replied, causing me to halt.
- I took in a deep breath and turned around to face him.
- “ Fine, I will just get a sneak peak of your illness before getting a male doctor for you.” I sighed, and asked him to take off the hospital shirt.
- Once he did, my vision was replaced with that of the devil I met at the club.
- I vividly remembered his smirk, his dark gaze, his deep voice and every single thing related to him.
- “ Aren't you gonna suck me?” His deep voice came, causing me to gulp and blink rapidly.
- “ You either suck my cock or I fuck your tiny little hole.”
- “ Doctor! Doctor! Are you okay?” The voice of the patient snapped me out of my imagination.
- “ I'm really sorry, but I need to call you a male doctor.”
- Even before letting him speak, I dashed out of the ward like a mad woman who escaped asylum.
- I guess I've been possessed after all, because I couldn't get that Satan's heir out of my head.
