Chapter 44 Wrong Mindlink

• Alpha Jack was seated in the comfort of his bed, pondering his and his pack's next moves, when he heard a knock on the door and his Beta walked in.
• “The Goddess is at the door?” With a shocked look on his face, Chris declared. Jack sprang to his feet quickly; the Goddess never paid a visit to packs. He couldn't help but wonder if she had come to deliver his and his pack's fates.
• Chris said, "She's with Alpha Stephen." Jack looked at his Beta with a sad expression on his face; anything involving Stephen was bad news. He gathered himself, cleared his throat, and walked over to greet his visitors.
