- In the mountain valley Shanice took off at the speed of light, she did not mind the twigs or rocks that kept stinging below her pawls as she maneuvered through the forest. She tried mind linking Miranda again but got no response, “shit Miranda, what's wrong with you!” she cursed.
- She knew the other Alphas were not far behind and would soon catch up with her. She needed backup and the only person available was Danica.
