• After spending the night wallowing in self pity, I had to get up in the morning to the presence of the sun I wish would kill itself, and the resounding sound of people shouting from downstairs.
• It took the grace of the moon goddess only that I was able to force my body out of bed, only to trip on the rug on my bedside and land on the floor face first — but of course, not before my forehead took the liberty of hitting itself against the edge of my bedside drawer.
