Chapter 3 : Leaving the Group
- The man's face, turned at a forty-five-degree angle, was exceptionally delicate, with a high and straight nose forming a right angle and deep, slightly sunken eyes.
- Su Qianqian hesitated for a moment, realizing that she didn't know this handsome man driving the Mercedes-Benz. But in order to escape from Gao Zifeng's crazy pursuit, she chose to shake off his hand and quickly climbed into the man's car.
- The car slowly drove out of the commercial district, with Gao Zifeng still chasing after them for a while before finally giving up.
- "Beep, the master has an incoming call--"
- It was a call from Gao Zifeng. Su Qianqian tightened her grip on her phone and answered it.
- Before she even put the phone to her ear, she heard Gao Zifeng angrily cursing, "Su Qianqian, you bitch! When did you seduce this pretty boy? Everyone has been with you except me!"
- The harsh words made Su Qianqian decisively press the hang-up button.
- Fu Junqi observed the scene through the rearview mirror.
- So she had a boyfriend, but it seemed like it was over because of him.
- Thinking of the man who had been clinging to her like a plaster, Fu Junqi inexplicably felt annoyed. He pursed his lips and gently said, "There are tissues in the armrest."
- Su Qianqian, with a pale face, brushed her long hair behind her ear and calmed herself down before saying to Fu Junqi, "Sir, thank you. You can just pull over here." For some reason, she felt a familiar scent in the car, as if... it was the smell of tobacco from the man last night.
- The Mercedes-Benz passed a traffic light, but Fu Junqi showed no intention of stopping the car.
- "Sir, could you please stop the car!" Su Qianqian tried to open the car door but found that it had already been locked by Fu Junqi. She could only angrily tap on the car window.
- However, Fu Junqi continued to look straight ahead, unaffected by her actions.
- "What do you want?" Su Qianqian sat back properly and looked at Fu Junqi in the driver's seat.
- From her angle, she could see his smooth shoulder line in the suit and the expensive cuff on his sleeve.
- A man of his status wouldn't kidnap her in broad daylight, would he?
- Seeing the wariness in the woman's eyes, a faint smile appeared at the corner of Fu Junqi's mouth. "You already belong to me. What are you afraid of?"
- These simple words were like a thunderbolt in Su Qianqian's mind.
- It was him!
- The man who had raped her last night!
- Immediately, Su Qianqian prepared to dial the emergency number. The digits '110' appeared on the phone keypad, but she didn't have the courage to make the call.
- She was a member of a girl group. If this matter got out, even if she was the victim, her career would be ruined.
- With tears filling her eyes again, she clenched her white teeth and tried hard not to let the tears fall.
- The Mercedes-Benz drove out of the city center and arrived at a place Su Qianqian was familiar with, the Nanning Mountain Villa.
- She used to live here before her father went bankrupt.
- But why did the man bring her here? Could it be that he wanted to continue what happened last night...
- Su Qianqian was extremely scared. She frantically pounded on the back of the man's seat and said, "Where are you taking me? Let me get off the car!" She was making so much noise!
- Fu Junqi furrowed his delicate eyebrows, about to speak, when the sound of a ringing phone interrupted him. His well-defined fingers quickly slid across the screen and pressed the answer button.
- "Captain, the flight is taking off half an hour earlier due to the weather."
- "Understood." After responding, Fu Junqi hung up the phone.
- Calculating the time, it was just right to drive to the airport now.
- He stepped on the brake.
- As soon as the car stopped, Su Qianqian hurriedly opened the door and got out.
- Because she was in a rush to get off the car, her steps were too big, and Fu Junqi clearly saw her legs go weak, causing him to take a sharp breath.
- It seemed that he had tortured her quite a bit last night.
- Thinking of her innocent and inexperienced reaction, as well as her captivating and almost distracting body, Fu Junqi couldn't help but swallow.
- The figure of Su Qianqian in the rearview mirror became smaller and smaller until it disappeared.
- Fu Junqi drove with one hand and looked through the call records on his phone with the other. He saw several missed calls from the butlers and called back.
- "Young Master, you finally returned my call. Master asked you to have dinner at the old mansion tonight. Both the Young Master and the Old Master will be there," the butler's excited voice came through the phone.
- "I'm not going!" Fu Junqi bluntly refused.
- The butler sighed helplessly. This was the eighteenth time this year that the Young Master had refused the family gathering. If he couldn't convince the Young Master to come back, he might be dismissed by the Master or the Old Master.
- "I have a flight to catch, and I'll be resigning in a few months."
- "That's great news, Young Master. I'll inform the Master and the Old Master about it later," the butler said excitedly.
- "Yes, first help me with something. Check the occupant of room 8868 at the Red Mandala Hotel last night. Find her and bring her to my villa in Nanning Mountain, fulfilling all her requests."
- Originally, he planned to personally bring Su Qianqian to the villa, but the sudden change in flight time disrupted his plan.
- "Understood, Young Master!"
- After hanging up the phone, the butler immediately called the general manager of the Red Mandala Hotel. Fortunately, it was their own property, so it was easy to investigate.
- The occupant of room 8868 last night was Ms. An Yating, and her contact number was also listed.
- The butler was overjoyed. The Young Master's spring was coming. He had to quickly bring back the future Mrs. Young Master!
- "Rapist! Scum! Beast!" Su Qianqian vented her frustration towards the direction Fu Junqi had left, then took the bus back to the company.
- When she returned to the collective dormitory of their girl group, she had missed dinner and could only cook instant noodles for herself.
- The company had rented a 100-square-meter apartment for their group, with seven rooms separated by seven doors. There was no living room, and each person only had a small 15-square-meter room, fortunately with a private bathroom.
- "Bang, bang, bang..."
- While she was eating instant noodles, someone knocked loudly on her door.
- "What's wrong?" Su Qianqian had to put down her chopsticks. Was it another member's light bulb or circuit that had gone bad?
- Since her family went bankrupt, she had learned all these skills within a year.
- "Qianqian, Yating wants to leave the group. Shine7 is supposed to have seven members, and the dance routines are designed for seven people. If we lose one, will we disband?" The person who came to find Su Qianqian was Li Lei, the youngest member of the group. She joined the girl group to earn a monthly salary of 5,000 yuan because her younger brother had a serious illness. On top of her training and performances, she also had to work part-time.
- For her, being in the girl group was a job she couldn't afford to lose.
- For Su Qianqian, it was the same. She also had to help her father repay his debts.
- When Su Qianqian and Li Lei stopped at the entrance of An Yating's room, they heard the captain, Ma Weiwei, persuading An Yating earnestly, "Why do you want to leave the group when you're doing well? If Shine7 disbands because of you, won't you feel guilty at all? Many of our sisters in the group really need this job."
- "They can find other jobs or join other girl groups. If they can't find any, it's their own fault."
- An Yating had already packed her luggage and sat on the edge of the bed, playing with her newly done manicure, casually responding to Ma Weiwei's words.
- Su Qianqian and Li Lei, who had just arrived at the door, stopped in their tracks. Especially Li Lei, tears were swirling in her eyes.
- Su Qianqian took a deep breath and walked in, asking, "Yating, you're also from an ordinary family, right? We all have it tough. Do you have a better place to go now?"
- "I come from an ordinary family, but you don't, or rather, before your father went bankrupt, you were a rich young lady. How does it feel to fall from the clouds to the dust?"
