Chapter 6 The Domineering CEO

• Coco earnestly introduced Halie to Horizon Group, including the best and worst places to eat in the company's restaurant. Halie found Coco adorable.
• At least she didn't seem to be a scheming person.
• During their meal, Coco looked at Halie and asked, "I heard you came back from Ereles and won many awards there. That's amazing!" Coco praised her sincerely.
• Halie smiled and said, "You could achieve the same if you were in my shoes."
• This remark made Coco feel rather comfortable.
• "I don't know about that, but studying abroad is my dream!" She said it with determination, working hard towards her goal.
• "Getting a job at Horizon Group is a testament to your abilities. Many people out there had to fight nail and tooth to get in." Halie said.
• Listening to Halie's words, Coco felt even better. She nodded with a smile and said, "That's true!
• "Although our company has only been around for two years, its development to this stage hasn't been easy. Considering the future, the company is undoubtedly on an international path!"
• Halie echoed that and said, "I believe that. I'd heard of our company when I was in Ereles!" That was the very reason Halie chose to work here.
• Coco smiled and asked, "Did you know our CEO is a young and handsome man?"
• Speaking of this, Halie shook her head; she hadn't really looked into it.
• "He's more handsome than movie stars, and he's only twenty-six. Very young and capable. Our company is his creation, and he's every female employee's prince charming." Coco said it with a smile.
• Halie chuckled and teased, "Then you'd better make a move!"
• "They're all trying. I just admire him," Coco said with a laugh.
• Halie smiled as well. Coco continued, "You'll know when you see him!"
• Halie nodded.
• Coco abruptly added, "But I think our CEO was married and got divorced."
• Halie was slightly taken aback by this revelation. She thought it might not be such a coincidence.
• She didn't probe further. The two quickly finished their meal and returned to work.
• In the afternoon, Halie received a call to report to the CEO's office. She gathered her documents and proceeded upstairs.
• She found the CEO's office, and just as she reached the door, she heard voices inside.
• "Austin, how about I accompany you to the event the day after tomorrow?" A delicate female voice came from inside, and her tone sounded slightly suppressed.
• Halie paused at the door. Someone was inside.
• "If your hand goes any lower, there will be trouble." A deep male voice followed.
• Halie stood frozen at the door. She was stunned by the implication of those words. She hadn't heard it wrongly, had she?
• This was the CEO's office!
• "What's the matter? Can't you handle it? I just want to cause trouble. Austin, make love to me, please ... " The soft, pleasant female voice came from inside, and it was pleasing to the ears.
• Even without seeing the scene, Halie could imagine the suggestive situation inside.
• She didn't expect the CEO to do something like this, especially in the office.
• Or, was it true that men are the same everywhere, and she should face this reality?
• A deep male groan came from inside.
• Halie snapped back to reality. If she listened any longer, her face would turn red. Better come back later and not anger the passionate CEO.
• "Maia, this is the office!" The man spoke, his voice restrained but unwavering in his commitment to his principles.
• "Be nice. I'll keep you company next time!" With that, the door suddenly opened.
• Halie stood at the door, and she was just about to walk away.
