Chapter 26 In Hiding
- We stood silently within the small room hearing footsteps outside, waiting for it to disappear. The grey hair man turned to look at us, placing one of his fingers across his lips, instructing us to be quiet. My body jumped frighteningly as we heard a loud crashing sound.
- A dark cloud of sadness covered my entire body; knowing the red hair man outside was not my father; but who was he and why was he here? I thought worried.
- "Ah," I heard Cindy made a strange sound as if she were in pain. I turned to look at her, trying my best to not make any sound in being discovered. And there I saw her body soaked by her sweat and shivering like a leaf.
