Chapter 15 Taylor's Confession

• Penny rubbed her temples. She ignored Samuel's rather unpleasant words and anxiously asked, "How's Charlie? Was he okay yesterday?"
• Samuel took a good look at Penny. Her hair fell messily and covered half of her face. She seemed tired, but she had a touch of life in her eyes. A trace of affection grew within his eyes as he stood stunned.
• This woman had almost lost her life, yet the first thing on her mind when she woke up was Charlie. Her affection for the child exceeded even that of a father.
